The Full Circle Tai Chi Academy is excited to unveil our re-designed studio and we are honored to have Coach Jing-Lin Wei joining us.  We are located at 2801 E. THE VIRTUAL T'AI CHI ACADEMY

Launched in 2008, the Virtual T'ai Chi Academy is an opportunity to study with America's T'ai Chi Champion one-to-one... in real time... from anywhere in the world. The reason this is now possible is due to the technology of video file sharing over the internet, and a new mini-camcorder that will send email videos just by plugging the camera into your laptop computer.

Since I started taking on students for the virtual school, I have found that it's even more beneficial than teaching in person. Here's how it works: 

1. The student will use the series of the basic T'ai Chi instructional videos as his fundamental "textbook" to learn the basic moves. (Some of my students already have a background in T'ai Chi from studying with another teacher.)

2. Throughout the week, the student will video him or herself with the mini-camcorder and email me the file.  I will review it and make notes and respond by email -- sometimes with written instructions, sometimes with a short video lesson.

3. Finally, during regularly scheduled calls, the student and I will review all the notes on the performances while watching the videos together, and have a Q&A session during the 30-minute call.
